Q: What is average summer temp?
A: High temperatures range from 74F to 88F, June through August. Lows range from 37F to 42F for same period.
Q: What do we need to bring on our wildlife adventure tour?
A: Layered water-proof outerwear, hat, sunscreen, and any necessary medications.
Q: Will Teton Wild pick up and drop off at our location?
A: Absolutely! However, if your group is staying outside of Jackson/Teton Village, additional travel rates will apply.
Q: Are restroom facilities available frequently during our trip?
A: Yes! About every 30 minutes.
Q: Do we need to bring binoculars?
A: Teton Wild will provide binoculars and spotting scopes for your use during the tour. If you have your own, you may certainly bring them.
Q. What kinds of animals can we see.
A. Much depends on the time of year and animal migrations. Possibilities include bears, wolves, bison, elk, moose, coyotes, fox, mule/whitetail deer, pronghorn antelope, otters, beaver, muskrats, marmots, badgers, eagles, hawks, kestrals, owls, swans, pelicans, herons, cranes, ducks, geese and songbirds
Q. How long does the tour take?
A. Typical a wildlife adventure tour is either half-day (4 hours +/-), or full-day (8-10 hours). Full day tours will provide a greater opportunity for wildlife viewing.
Q. What about food?
A. Cold refreshments and snacks are provided for the Half-day tours. Lunch is included in the full day tour
