Join us for a unique winter wildlife tour in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Grand Teton National Park! Teton Wild can create a specialized, custom tour that meets every need of your group. Your party will be treated to a friendly, relaxing and informative wildlife tour. As we travel through this amazing valley together, you will have many opportunities to take spectacular photographs from the National Elk Refuge in Jackson — all the way up to Colter Bay Village in Grand Teton National Park.
Please note: We do not conduct any tours in Yellowstone National Park in the winter season. If you are interested in booking a 2019 summer tour to Yellowstone, please click over to this page for details!
Did you know? The Grand Teton mountain range is one of the youngest in the world, with fascinating geological details including glaciers, moraine lakes and formations left from the last ice age. This mountain range is also the perfect backdrop for an up-close photo encounter with many animal species that live here.
During your private wildlife tour, many different types of animals can be spotted in the winter. And, that’s because we know exactly where to take you to see wildlife! Possibilities include elk, wolves, bison, moose, coyotes, fox, mule deer and whitetail deer, pronghorn antelope, otters, beaver, muskrats, marmots, badgers, eagles, hawks, swans, kestrels, ducks, and herons. In late winter and early spring, we might also see black bears, grizzly bears, owls, pelicans, herons, cranes, geese, and songbirds. Click here to read more details on the species of our region!
Again, Teton Wild specializes in designing custom tours to your exact requirements. Let us know your interests and we will do our best to accommodate you! For example, if you would like to see wolves in the wild, we will customize the trip to include wolf habitat.
