When I first started coming to this beautiful valley more than 30 years ago, I was like many visitors that come from all over the world.  I was captivated by the beautiful Wyoming scenery and loved being able to see wild animals at every turn.  Spending quality time in this unique area over the years changed my life!  I went from being a “visitor,” to living in magnificent Jackson Hole year round.

Here’s a bit more about my story…

I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.  And, yes. I most certainly do have a southern accent!  As a young man, I graduated from the University of Georgia and went right to work in financial services and sales.  I lived in Atlanta and was excited to work in corporate America.

However, there was always another thought on my mind: living in Jackson Hole.  Could I really make that happen?  As time passed, Jackson Hole began to work its magic on me.  I would fly back to Jackson every few years, and each time I was in awe of what new things I had learned about this amazing valley.  After each visit, my desire to live here became stronger and stronger.  In 2012, I finally admitted to myself (and my family, friends and colleagues) that I had fallen in love with Jackson Hole, Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.  That was it! I packed my things and moved here.  I was officially done with city life and 60 hour work weeks.

As a guide in this wild and spectacular space, I’ve spent much of my time learning the mysteries of this area.  I am always excited to go out and explore with clients… because it’s not just about mountains and wild animals.  It’s about being in an extraordinary place where you can almost see time unfold. From the days when glaciers completely covered the land, to the origin of the Grand Tetons about 9 million years ago, to the story of how wolves saved the aspens — if you book a tour with me, then you too will know the many secrets of “The Hole!”
